The oldest child of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. [insert obligatory S6 birth story here]. Similarly to her younger sibling. Flurry Heart was pampered as often as a royal child should be. As much as her parents loved her, they always had a fear trickling behind them that her true powers might come into play once more. Because of this, they kept a closer eye on her than her other siblings. Flurry didn't necessarily mind this though, she was very close with her parents.

Growing up, Flurry Heart was very self-conscious of her alicornhood. She never once believed herself to be better than anypony, however she was always treated with the highest of esteem from everypony in the Crystal Empire and beyond. As Flurry grew bigger… so did her wings. No spell nor potion could stunt their growth even for a day. They grew too large and heavy to even fly with or lift off the ground, especially into her adult years. Amputating them was completely out of the question- Faust only knows what sort of speculation would arise from an alicorn giving up her wings. In the end, they decided to give her bows and other articles of clothing to fasten around her wings.
