tl;dr — events in s03 episode (flashback) shows Luna and Celestia 1000 years ago, banishing Sombra. They have similar form, shape and mane style/colors. This renders illustrated book from s01 (so very loved in fanon) useless (as an argument), because these events happens AFTER Sombra's banishment.
