S.E.U.P. Guards were first instated around the time of King Sombra's first return, as Special Force team(hence the resemblence to Crystal War Timeline's soldier outfit). After the swift defeat of King Sombra, the team got quickly repurposed into Police Tactical Unit (like SWAT)
