Friendship Is Magic: The Next Generation begins thirty years after the birth of Princess Flurry Heart, and the story is... a bit darker and more complicated than My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic before it. It delves into the backstory around Alicorns, where they came from, why Discord is the only Draconequus, and who is the prisoner in the deepest darkest cell of the cosmic oubliette that is Tartarus... (And admittedly, FIM:TNG does take some liberties with the events of MLP:FIM, mostly in regards to Equestria Girls and all episodes after and including The Cutie Re-Mark. That will become more apparent when it comes to the character bios for Sunset Shimmer, Flash Sentry, Starlight Glimmer, and others.) Now, I have done this for years now online, but I think it deserves attention here: whenever I discuss a couple, I always use an ampersand "&" between their names, whereas with platonic pairs/groups, I use the word "and" instead. And also, I think we all take it for granted that same-sex couples in Friendship Is Magic headcanons can have kids. I mean, magic is a thing in this universe, and it's not ENTIRELY written off that sex-changes could happen with magic. Or just, you know, other options with the magic to allow two mares or two stallions to have children together. Anyway, moving on. Stellar Eclipse, former lamp salespony, connoisseur of chicken statues, and special super-secret agent of a clandestine organization. While he is a very affectionate man with regards to his wife and his children, Stellar puts on an entirely different face with regards to his job, whatever it may be. In public places and on the trail of whatever lead he tracks down, he acts as a haute-couture pony the likes of which would not be out of place in Canterlot's high society. When the chips are down, though, he will fiercely act in the interests of what he considers to be good and just. He will defend his wife and foals to his dying breath. I took his colors from :iconstelar-eclipse:'s update to his ponysona's colors. There is a reason for this in-story and isn't just there for the sake of it happening. The color of Stellar's suit comes from his wheelchair restraint in Trade Ya! and the buttons on the sleeves take their color from the golden accents on his wheelchair. Stellar Eclipse & his wife Night Lark came together shortly after he set up his first shop at the Rainbow Falls Traders Exchange; they literally bumped into each other as he was carrying away his order of oatburgers. They became quickly enamored with one another and soon began seeing each other more and more. After Stellar became a secret agent, Night Lark opted to follow after him, though taking short breaks as they had their foals, first a Pegasus daughter and then a Bat Pony son. Nowadays, their whole family is involved in the super-secret agent business together, a real collective conglomerate of kickbutt ponies. ...wait a second, wasn't he supposed to be a Pegasus? And why isn't he in a wheelchair anymore? He didn't have his wings removed or anything. I feel like you'd have to see the movie Hardcore Henry to get why.
