"Fluttershy darling? Is everything okay in there?" Rarity asked as she knocked against the backroom door.
Ponies of all kinds hurried past the unicorn in preparation for the show at that was mere minutes away.

"The show will begin soon and Photo Finish is getting worried about you," Rarity explained.
Her white ears perked upwards slightly and she squinted in confusion. She could have swore
Fluttershy said something but her voice was overwhelmed by the environment around them.

"Say again darling?" Rarity requested as she pressed her ear and cheek against the face of the door.
Fluttershy's timid voice was muted by the door between them. Rarity strained to hear her friend's
quiet words over the busy bodies around her. Indeed the shouts of management and preparation
for the fashion show only dampened the dialogue of the shy mare further. Rarity let out a sigh
and put her hand on the door knob. She twisted it twice, only to discover the door was locked.

"Fluttershy, could you open the door for me? Please? It will be quite easier if we talk face to face
rather than face to door," Rarity tried to make a joke to ease her friend's mind. Rarity's lips formed
a gentle smile as the door clicked, then opened a slight sliver which exposed Fluttershy's turquoise iris.

"It doesn't fit…" Fluttershy whispered to Rarity.

"Beg pardon? Could you let me in Fluttershy?" Rarity requested. Fluttershy's head nodded in acceptance.
Her yellow fingers wrapped around the edge of the door and pulled back, allowing Fluttershy to open the
door while concealing herself. Once the door was open enough, Rarity slipped herself through the doorway
and into the room. The noises outside went mute as the door closed behind her. Rarity sighed in relief as she
found herself able to hear her own thoughts once more. Despite closing the door, Fluttershy kept her back
to Rarity. Her extended butter yellow wings hiding the majority of Fluttershy's upper body from her friend.

"Now Fluttershy, what seems to be the problem?" Rarity asked again, her voice filled with care and con-
-cern. Rarity's eyes looked over Fluttershy's back, trying to guess the problem before the Pegasus spoke.

"It, it doesn't fit," Fluttershy simply said in a barely audible tone.
Rarity raised an eyebrow in curiosity, her arms folded under her bosom.

"Let me see. I'm sure I could help you out… I know the outfit had buttons and that
can be quite a problem for a mare of your size," Rarity admitted in a professional tone.
Fluttershy bit her lower lip and nodded, trusting her friend without question. Her wings
folded inwards, pressing against her body. She slowly turned around to expose the fashion
failure. Even from a side angle Rarity could tell how ill-fitting the dress was, the lower
portion had no problems, but her aquamarine top wasn't buttoned up at all. Indeed it would
be an impressive feat for Fluttershy to have been able to do up the bottom two buttons.

"Ah I see… a shame you weren't born a unicorn, this wouldn't be a problem for
you. Magic can be so handy for all those hard to reach places," Rarity teased and
went to Fluttershy's side. "Allow me," Rarity leaned over and began to button up
the dress. It was quite easy to cover up Fluttershy's stomach with the first button.

"Uhm… Rarity?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yes darling?" Rarity replied as her thumb pushed the
second button into place before moving onto the third.

"What are you wearing?"

"Oh? This little number?" Rarity paused, looking down at her maid outfit with despondence. She
sighed and brushed some of her purple mane back, ensuring not a single hair was out of place.

"Photo Finish thought I should be more 'in character' to serve you. As such, she gave me a rather…
gaudy outfit to wear. It makes it quite clear where I stand in the 'production ladder' and what my
role is…" Rarity sighed, resisting the urge to mock Photo Finish. "It is rather degrading however…
far too many ponies think I'm a 'generic' maid to serve whomever. If it means helping you though,
I certainly don't mind… too much," Rarity explained. Her brilliant blue eyes gazed over her outfit,
the white frills bounced ever so slightly with each tug and pull Rarity gave upon Fluttershy's buttons.
The skirt was wide and allow slight breezes to run up her buttocks. Occasionally, when Rarity
bent over, her pink panties were exposed to the world and any eyes who dared to peek.

"Oh… are you sure? I can talk to Photo Finish and ask if you can wear something
else," Fluttershy kindly offered. The friends eyes met, giving them both a smile.

"I do appreciate it darling, but don't worry about me. Try to focus on your performance
here… and… fitting…" Rarity mumbled as she finished with the fourth button. Fluttershy's
breasts were pushing the dress outwards and the latest button strained to hold together.
Her squishy breast flesh hung and poked out of the hole that was created between buttons.

"Such an odd fashion choice… or misfitting… Beautiful but shotty work at best if you ask me…" Rarity
mumbled to herself as she choked the fabric slightly. Her grip tightened around the smooth aquamarine
cloth, then Rarity heaved as she pushed the dress together. Rarity could feel the threads of the dress
strain between her fingers as she pulled the buttons ever closer together. Fluttershy's back stiffened,
trying to make it easier for her friend to complete her task. Rarity found herself taking a deep breath
in order to focus on the last set of buttons. No silly dress would deny the seamstress' orders! Rarity's
hands shook a little as the button approached it's hole, her full attention upon the gap in fabric. Rarity's
horn began to glow blue as an aura of magic surrounded the hole, opening it wider for the button to enter.

"Just… a little… more," Rarity mumbled as the edge of the button found the mouth. Slowly,
only by being pushed by Rarity's thumb, did the button enter the hole. With a final, swift
push, the dress was finally secured! Rarity let go hastily and Fluttershy's breasts were
squished together at the fabric tried to relax, free from the unicorn's impressive grip.
The button had entered the hole, and despite the numerous fabric stretches, Rarity was
quite pleased with her work. Her arms bent outwards and she placed her fists upon her hips.

"There! All together now. I do hope that the bulges of your bosom is… intended for the
show. If you ask me, I feel it's rather out of place. You should be comfortable, not exposed
like this," Rarity calmly said, her keen eye for detail observing every angle of the dress.
It was, indeed, satisfying but the dress was obviously at it's limits. Rarity found her mind
racing, trying to discover all the options available to ease the cloth and Fluttershy's stress.

"Uhm… Rarity?" Fluttershy asked, finally taking a breath of air. Rarity didn't
look up or acknowledge the question, she was too focused on the dress.Rarity's
hand thoughtfully rubbed her chin as she mentally eliminated the obvious options.

"Rarity…?" Fluttershy asked again, speaking louder.

"Hmmm? Yes darling?" Rarity removed her hand from her chin and looked at her friend.

"T-there's still one button left…" Fluttershy admitted, reaching her hand over the long white
collar of her dress and pointing to the final green button. The dress had been stretched so far
around Fluttershy's massive breasts that Rarity had failed to acknowledge it earlier. Indeed it
could have been mistaken as a decoration at first glance due to its position. Her blue eyes
tracked the dress' curve around Fluttershy's bust only to find the final button. How? How in
the world had she failed to notice such an integral part of the outfit!? Her heart sank and so
did Rarity's posture, the unicorn's shoulders slumped over and Rarity hunched into a half arch.

"Oh dear… you're quite right," Rarity groaned.
