I don’t know when this came to me, but I’m surprised I didn’t draw this sooner. I started writing a fanfic about this back in 2011 and abandoned it after two years – the idea behind it being what’d happen if Fluttershy possessed the gift of fire?

It turned into her hailing from a cloudpost on the eastern edge of Everfree, where the pegasi keep firewatch over the dragon lands beyond. I miss the setting, and really, really want to go back and explore it someday.
